Run Cane Bay (10K)
David: “Hey, do you wanna run a race with me?”
Me: “Ummm, Heck yes!”
I have a brother. His name is David (thats him in the photo above). David and his family live in South Carolina. A few months back we agreed that we would run a 10K together. David would run in-person and I would run virtually.
For the past 13 years my brother and I have not lived in the same place. We both got married, started careers, we both have two daughters, and have settled in two different cities. But this 10K has brought us closer together. This 10K has given us something to work toward together. This 10K has offered us the opportunity to push one another long. I wont give you the name of the brother who ran the faster time, but I will give you a hint; it was the older brother!
TWP family, we have today and tomorrow left in the month of March. Now thats true madness, am I right? Do you have someone to run with? Do you have someone to work and push with? I would encourage you to call, text, or email a brother, dad, mom, sister, or friend and get going together!
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)
One blade is used to sharpen another blade until BOTH become more useful and effective tools! Thanks bro for running with me! I cannot wait for the next race together! Praying for you TWP family! Go sharpen!
