Post Run Breakfast
Last month Hannah and I were challenged to “ditch the dairy”. This was super hard when it came to pizza! We took to the challenge with small steps, eliminated some areas totally, and then found some great substitutes.
Almond based yogurt has been one of my favorite substitutes!
Today after a morning run I combined my three favorite breakfast items. Black berries, Wildway Granola (@wildwayoflife), and HEB almond based yogurt. Shout out to Wildway Granola! Support San Antonio small business!
I buy the plain yogurt and do not add any sweeteners. Normally, I buy the Wildway Banana Nut Granola, but I just picked up the Coconut Cashew. It’s good! The big chunks of coconut is a bonus! When preparing, I like to put the granola on the bottom, add the yogurt, then top with blueberries. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
*TWP tip: When we go climbing I love to take Wildway Granola with us to snack on! For those days I choose the Dark Chocolate Strawberry!
