Wheels For Ministers

Recently in my Intro. to Missiology class at Southern Seminary I met Nkosi Mpofu (Kosi for short). Kosi, his wife and family live and work in Zimbabwe. As I have been getting to know Kosi more I have learned about his passion and drive to evangelize, encourage, and educate through their ministry, Zimbabwe Missions.

One of their programs caught my attention and I immediately asked Kosi how I could help and bring some of my friends to help and support. The program is called WHEELS FOR MINISTERS.

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Romans 10:15

“This initiative is designed to assist rural area ministers so that they might have a means of transportation as they attend to His flock. The walking distances in the rural areas tend to be long, and thus the flock ends up not being attended to. We are excited about this program that will help many minsters carry out their God given tasks.” (Zimbabwemissions.org)

Last year, nine preachers from different locations and congregations participated in Wheels For Ministers. Six lessons taught to “revitalize the missionary” in all of the preachers and nine bicycles were given to each preacher for the advancement of the gospel!
