Frio River

With one week of summer left for the daughters, we decided to visit another river. Nothing beats the Texas summer heat better than The Frio River! We packed up our camping gear and spent two nights at Garner State Park. With physical health, mental health and family health a priority, I am reminded that sometimes all we need is a quick get away where cell service is spotty and hiking trails are many.

We woke up and set out on a 2.5 mile hike that featured a crystal cave, epic views, balancing rocks, and climaxed at the top of Mt. Baldy. Hiking for 1 hour and 28 minuets prepped us perfectly for the Frio River! We spent the majority of our time swimming, splashing and tubing!

Thank God for this amazing playground! What a beautiful creation He has formed and fashioned for us to enjoy, relax, and recharge. I encourage you and your family to get out go! Do whatever it takes!
