A Family Advent (Podcast)
I have been praying for God to help me press upon our daughters the need for God’s Word to be a part of their everyday lives. Not because their dad is a pastor or because it’s the “Christian” thing to do. I want them to be personally captivated by God and his powerful message. My desire is for both of them to be rooted and strengthened as they grow up. So I thought, lets get creative and make this time fun! Let’s also share it with those around us! So every morning during the Advent season we will record a morning devotional. My prayer is that Ella and Olive’s hearts will swell with true hope found in scripture. I pray that you and your family will be encouraged too during this journey! Blessings all and happy December!
Now those people live in darkness. But they will see a great light. They live in a place that is very dark. But a light will shine on them.
A child will be born to us. God will give a son to us. He will be responsible for leading the people. His name will be Wonderful Counselor, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace.
