Eyes Up, Slow Down!
Hello TWP! Happy November!

For our first steps together this month, we must fix our eyes up to Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2) and then slow down. On October 30th, BETTERMAN The Podcast published an episode titled “Slowing Down.” It would be advantageous for you to take a listen. The episode is only five minutes long. Do you have five minutes to spare? Here is the podcast:
“SLOWING DOWN” (Outline) - BETTERMAN The Podcast
What has been getting the most of my attention, affection, and time?
Where do I see myself continually getting angry or stressed?
I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. (Pslam 145:1-3)
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3)
What do I need to confess, ask for, or wrestle through with God?
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; (Psalm 103:13)
How can I take a kingdom mindset into the rest of my day?
For we are his (God’s) workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:1-2)
Thank you for taking the time to kick the month off right! A big thanks to BETTERMAN for the guide!
