Earth Day

This Thursday is Earth day!
April 22, 1970 was the first Earth Day.
While there may have be many different events that transpired to mark and observe that day, I would like to inspire us to look up and get out!

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands. (Psalm 19:1)

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters. (Psalm 24:1-2)

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2)

In honor of Earth day I would like to encourage you with a few challenges:

  • Bike to school or work

  • Walk down your street and pick up trash (Chad knows how to do it)

  • Go on a run / walk with some friends

  • Read, text, or email the above 4 bible verses to 10 people!

Whatever you do have some fun enjoying God’s creation as one perfectly created by Him!
I have challenged a few friends to run the San Antonio Mission trail with me. We will start at 8:30am Thursday morning!
I cannot wait to share the experience with y’all! Peace and love TWP family!
