“But you are Terry Bradshaw!”
I stumbled across this story yesterday. First of all, all rights to the Today Show, NBC, and Terry Bradshaw.
I couldn’t help but share this content. I mean check out this exchange:
Harry Smith: But you are Terry Bradshaw. You’re bigger than life!
Terry Bradshaw: Well, cancer didn’t think so! I don’t think cancer cares. Cancer shows no favoritism.
I am troubled to hear that the majority of individuals who responded first call for Terry Bradshaw to be rid of solely based on his outward performance (he was struggling). When we as men and woman begin to move pass outward performance and really see people (I mean really, intentionally see people), we might be living in a different world.
TWP family, health matters! Physically and spiritually! Life, sin, worry, hurt, brokenness doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t matter who you are, life happens (we are struggling). It doesn’t matter who you are, God hears!
Say something and go see your doctor if something physically is off.
And if something seems off spiritually, “throw it to God, He really does care for you!”
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen. {1 Peter 5:6-11}
Stay humble, alert, and stand firm in your faith in Jesus!
Peace and love TWP family!
