Happy February TWP family! Today Ella, Olive and I kick off the new month with a new daily podcast. We want to be intentional as a family to read, pray, sing, and play! We encourage you and your family to participate with us. Here is a quote I stumbled upon while reading an article on TVC Recourses:

“Odds are, your kids aren’t going to remember everything you taught them. But it will be nearly impossible for them to forget the things you were passionate about. In fact, they will very likely grow up to be passionate about the same things.”

“Don’t just teach your kids about the Lord, but show them what it looks like to know Him.”

Dr. Don Whitney (Southern Seminary) was one of my professors, and he encouraged the first three for Family Worship (read, pray, sing). I went ahead and added play to the routine as we have found as a family that spending time together creates incredible memories! Ready friends? Have fun and please feel free to share some of the things you and your family are doing together! Peace and Love!

Read together!
Pray together!
Sing together!
Play together!

TODAYS SCRIPTURE AND QUOTE:

Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates. Attention, Israel! GOD, our God! GOD the one and only! Love GOD, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you, love him with all you’ve got!

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:4-9‬ ‭MSG‬‬

“Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.” -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
